🎯Focus Areas of the S2 Course
🔹Understanding लकाराः (verb tenses/moods) and अजन्त-शब्दाः & हलन्त-शब्दाः (ending in vowels and consonants)
🔹Framing simple sentences using भावेप्रयोगः and कर्मणिप्रयोगः (impersonal and passive constructions)
🔹Introduction to सन्धिः (euphonic combinations) and विशेष्य-विशेषण-भावः (noun–adjective agreement)
🔹Building confidence in सरल-सम्भाषणम् (simple Sanskrit conversation)

📌Students who have successfully completed

can pursue S2 course.
S2 Direct Entry Exam (DEE)
S2 Direct Entry Exam (DEE)
S2 DEE allows eligible students to enroll in S2 without needing to go through S1 or P1 courses.
Eligibility Criteria are indicated below under 📝
S2 DEE scheduled on July 26, 2025, is conducted in two parts -
🔹Part 1: Online assessment via Google Form
🔹Part 2: सम्भाषण-परिक्षा (sambhāṣaṇa-parīkṣā) – Oral proficiency test
📝 Eligibility criteria for S2 DEE
के S2 प्रवेश-परीक्षां लेखितुम् अर्हन्ति?
✅ येषां विभक्तिप्रयोगज्ञानम् उत्तमम् अस्ति
Those who have excellent knowledge of vibhakti-prayogaḥ (case usage)
✅ ये शुद्धं सरलञ्च संस्कृतसम्भाषणं कर्तुं शक्नुवन्ति
Those who can converse fluently and accurately in saṃskṛtam
✅ येषाम् अभ्यासपुस्तकस्य, विभक्तिवल्लरीपुस्तकस्य च उत्तमं ज्ञानम् अस्ति
Those with excellent knowledge of both the abhyāsapustakam and vibhaktivallarī materials
✅ येषां भाषाप्रवेशस्य/गीतासोपानस्य (प्रथमभागस्य) उत्तमं ज्ञानम् अस्ति
Those with a strong understanding of the first part of bhaṣāpraveśaḥ or gītāsopānam
✅ ये SBUSA L2 पाठ्यक्रमं सम्यक् पठितवन्तः सन्ति, तथा च L3 पाठ्यक्रमम् अधिकृत्य अधुना पठन्ति
Those who have completed the SBUSA L2 course and are currently studying in L3
✅ ये S2 DEE पाठ्यविषयान् सम्यक् जानन्ति
Those who have a solid grasp of the S2 DEE syllabus
